Rachel’s North Men’s Club and Steakhouse at 401 E. Semoran Blvd in Casselberry shut down on June 8.

Inspectors found 12 violations, three of which were a high priority.

Those violations included roach activity, an improperly stored toxic substance, and a dish machine that wasn’t properly sanitizing the dishes.

Officials revisited the restaurant on June 9.

They found five violations and ordered a time extension for the dish machine not using the correct sanitizer.

Inspectors said the restaurant met inspection standards.

Those violations included insects, rodents and other pests; raw food stored over ready-to-eat food; and food held at the wrong temperature.

The restaurant received time extensions for raw food stored over ready-to-eat food, and food held at the wrong temperatures.

They were allowed to reopen.

Orange had the top spot for most warnings and other complaints in Central Florida with 43.

Volusia County had 12, Brevard had 14, Seminole had 12, Lake had five, and Osceola had 14. Warnings given with required follow-up inspections could lead to a business being shut down if problems remain.
