Your mom deserves a meal out for Mother’s Day, what we’ve JUST decided to call Mater-day.

And even though she’s your...um...mater, we’ve gathered here a list of our favorite restaurant specials for that special matriarch celebration on Sunday, May 8.

This guide is in no particular order and keep in mind that prices do not include taxes and gratuities.

And keep coming back as we will be adding to this list of Mater-day celebrations (give it time, it’ll catch on).

Both locations will feature two special menu items for Mother’s Day: the Arthur Avenue salad (antipasti salad, giardiniera, chickpeas, celery, tomato, salumi, olives, provolone and peppadews for $16) and the Burrata toast (a soft egg, bacon, greens, tomato and basil for $14).

This Mediterranean taverna is the latest from hospitality honcho and “Big Brother” reality star Memphis Garrett.

For Mother’s Day Ya Mas! will have a Santorini Sunday Brunch on May 8 from noon to 3 p.m. with dishes such as the signature Breakfast Gyro for $15, short rib hash for $19, prosciutto Benedict for $18, French toast for $15 as well as falafel chicken & waffle for $26.

Some of the cocktails for $15-$16 will include the Lavish Indulgence (Tito’s, lavender/blueberry syrup, lemon and soda), Clear-Eyed Maria (Los Magos Sotol, tomato water, cucumber-celery juice and lime), Fig Old Fashioned (fig-infused bourbon, Demerara syrup, Angostura and orange bitters) as well as the “Greek Salad” Martini, the Santorini Sour as well as an array of spritzes and sangrias.

This eatery with views of the gardens at The Norton Museum of Art will offer free bellinis or mimosas for all moms. The menu will include lobster bisque with chili oil and chervil for $14; strawberry-stuffed French toast topped with maple butter, chocolate shavings and powdered sugar for $16 or a branzino served with roasted zucchini, summer squash, blister cherry tomatoes & carrot cardamom puree for $27.

Harborwood Urban Kitchen & Bar at the Hyatt — downtown Fort Lauderdale’s tallest building — will host its first Mother’s Day brunch since opening in 2020 with bottomless mimosas, live music and a global-inspired menu.

The prix fixe brunch is $85 per adult, $40 per child and includes valet parking, brunch and children’s activities. There will be three two-hour seatings at 10 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.

The brunch service will include the hotel’s signature tapas station with a charcuterie display and baked breads. There will also be carving stations, a pasta-made-to-order table and a sushi display. There will also be a traditional breakfast spread with fruits, pastries, parfaits, pancakes and desserts.

Chef Suzanne Perrotto’s two restaurants sit a block apart in downtown Delray Beach’s vibey Pineapple Grove Arts District. Both Brule Bistro and Rose’s Daughter will treat moms to a free sweet treat when they dine on Mother’s Day.

At Brule Bistro mothers will have choices such as a pistachio crème brûlée with Tahitian vanilla bean or the white chocolate cheesecake with pecan crust.

At Rose’s Daughter mothers can opt for desserts such as a lemon-almond pound cake.

This restaurant will have a prix fixe Lebanese cuisine Mother’s Day brunch 11 a.m.-3 p.m. for $45 per adult. Guests can order two mezze, one entrée and one dessert.

Chef Nolan-Ryan’s catering/cooking school also has pop-up dinner and brunches. For her Mother’s Day Brunch, Nolan-Ryan is paying homage to her own mother by featuring her favorite dish, shrimp divan with jumbo shrimp in a seafood sauce and jasmine rice for $28.

The rest of the menu includes braised short rib and potato gratin Benedict for $25; a “Momelette” (French omelet with asparagus, Gruyere cheese, shallot beurre blanc) for $18, classic eggs Benedict for $22, artichoke flower for $26, Maryland crab cake Benedict for $28, salmon en croute with cucumber sauce for $25, French quiche for $18 and Lenore’s Salad (artisan greens, berries, goat cheese, caramelized walnuts) for $18.

Desserts will include Key lime pie, dark chocolate mousse and lemon custard strawberry bread pudding, all for $10 each.

Brunch will be served with Ethereal Cream Biscuits with marmalade butter. You can also order bottomless “bubbles & brunch cocktails” for $25 and mocktails for $10.

From Monday, May 4, to Monday, May 9, Yonutz’s Mother’s Day Deluxe assortment ($29.95) will feature six donuts decorated with a choice of candies and chocolates including Oreos, Hershey’s Kisses, Ferrero Rocher, mini Nutella jar, Kinder Bueno and Happy Hippo, M&Ms and an edible rose.

There will also be Mother’s Day Minis with mini donuts, each frosted and topped with candies and chocolates in boxes of four for $6.95, 16 for $24.95, 24 for $34.95 and 48 for $64.95.

This riverfront restaurant will have a Chef’s Table Bottomless Brunch throughout Mother’s Day weekend for $34.95 per adult and $10 for kids ages 6-12. Diners can have bottomless brunch favorites such as French toast, omelets, pancakes and waffles. There will also be bottomless mimosas or bloody Marys for an additional $25.

The restaurant-retail-mashup Jupiter’s location will have a Mother’s Day weekend brunch served Saturday, May 7 and Sunday, May 8. The special will include bananas foster French toast with brioche, Hawaiian sea salt, rum caramel, whipped cream and Pecanwood Bacon for $18. All three locations will have a Mother’s Day special Boracay Bliss tropical cocktail made of Don Q Reserva 7-Years Aged Rum, a blend of crème de banana, pineapple and the citrus of orgeat and lemon for $14.

The “Style Isle” restaurant will serve French specialties for both Mother’s Day brunch 11 a.m. -2:30 p.m. and dinner from 5-10 p.m.

The restaurant at the Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort will have a Beachside Mother’s Day Brunch on Sunday, May 8, from 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m., priced at $55 per adult and $45 per child (ages 12 and under). There will be the usual chef-attended brunch stations including the guacamole bar, tacos station, ceviche station as well as omelet and waffle stations.

And for Mother’s Day, Lona is adding a quesadilla bar, trompo station (vertical rotating spit of al pastor meat), gourmet ice cream bar and a tequila-infused snow cone station.

Also bottomless margaritas, mimosas and bloody Marys are included as well a specialty Mother’s Day cocktail, the Mezcalita, which features flavors of tamarindo and passionfruit.

Usually Chez Marie is closed on Sundays, but for Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 8, they will make an exception with a three-course price-fixed Mother’s Day brunch for $55 per adult and a $25 kids special for children up to 10 years old.
